Motorcycle Half Helmets - Small Construction, Large Freedom Factor
Motorcycle half helmets are providing riders with the freedom that they're looking for when they have to put on a helmet in order to go riding on their motorcycle. That's why a small construction is an important factor that is considered when making a helmet purchase. Many riders don't want a helmet that is large and bulky like the full face helmet, so they're turning to the half helmet for their purchase.
The half helmet is essentially made of half the material that is required when making it's larger counterpart the full face version. Often times, they are made with much less material which is how they come to be so small and provide such a low profile. Some are smaller than others because of the fact that they may have a smaller inner liner, but this doesn't necessarily mean that they provide the same amount of safety.

If safety is your concern, but you still want a helmet that is small and lightweight, then you might consider a DOT motorcycle helmet which has all of the features that make for a safe helmet. These helmets are required to meet certain standards when it comes to their construction, which mainly includes the standard of how well the helmet can hold up to high impact collision. DOT motorcycle helmets are made with a thick inner liner that is composed of a very tough material which also provides a bit of cushion for your head. They are also made with a tough outer shell, usually a polycarbonate material, which is very durable and able to withstand high impact force.
Half helmets are available in many different shapes, styles, and colors so if you've got a particular style in mind, chances are pretty good that you'll be able to find what you're looking for. So in the end, if you purchase a half helmet, you'll enjoy the freedom of a low profile helmet, and can still enjoy the safety benefits that they have to offer.

What company made a small video camera and "bullet" helmet camera combo?
I'm trying to find out which company made a helmet camera/flash memory video camera combo? I can't remember if it was Sony or Samsung or something. All I remember is that it was one of the well known electronics companies. Adds for it were frequently seen in Skiing Magazine and Powder Magazine about 4 years ago.
Any help out there???
