Carolina Panthers Tickets - Ready to Pounce

The Carolina Panthers are one of the most underrated teams in the NFL this season, and the cats are quietly sneaking up on the playoffs, ready to pounce against their tough tail end of the regular season. After beating the Oakland Raiders and Detroit Lions in Week 9 and 10 games that were expected to be blowouts but instead were close calls, the Panthers continue their winning streak on the road, hoping to come out on top of their next and last six regular season games that include matchups against the Atlanta Falcons, Green Bay Packers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Denver Broncos, New York Giants and New Orleans Saints, respectively.

When it comes to the epitome of Carolina's success this year under head coach John Fox, the only answer to the Panthers' overwhelming wins lies within the team's depth. Quarterback Jake Delhomme has been an invaluable asset to the Panthers after missing most of last season due to an arm injury and reconstructive surgery, and his on-and-off hot streaks have been great when he's on, but it's the rest of his team that makes up for his sometimes-off days. Take the Panthers' 17-6 win over the Oakland Raiders, for example. Delhomme was intercepted four times and had only 72 yards on the day. The rest of his offense, especially DeAngelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart and Muhsin Muhammad, made up for the quarterback's deficit, and this is part of the reason the Panthers have been such an unstoppable force this season. In the Panthers' last game against the Detroit Lions, running backs Williams and Stewart both showed their colors, running for more than 100 yards each while helping set a team record of 264 yards rushing and 8.3 yards per carry. Add receivers Muhammad and Steve Smith to the mix and the Panthers could be (and, well, are) one of the hottest teams in the NFL right now.

This Carolina team has drastically improved from the shaky bunch they were a year ago, and players like Stewart and Muhammad are partly to credit as phenomenal additions to the team. Stewart, the incredible rookie running back out of Oregon, has 513 yards and 6 touchdowns on the season so far, setting a personal record with 130 yards in Carolina's game against the Lions. Muhammad, who came back to Carolina after spending three unsuccessful seasons with the Chicago Bears, returned to Carolina with a vengeance, playing extremely well this season so far. Throw defensive end Julius Peppers into this mix and the Carolina Panthers look like the mighty team they really are. The development of this season has surprised and thrilled Panthers fans, as even a look back at earlier this season shows how far the Panthers have come to get to their current 8-2 record and first place standing in the NFC South. In case a selective memory has taken over, a refresher of earlier this season shows Steve Smith suspended for the first two games of the season after sucker-punching teammate Ken Lucas during training camp. An early 10-20 loss to Minnesota also showed the Panthers on a bad day, yet this incredible Carolina team has since picked up steam, rolling right over tough competitors like the Falcons and the Saints.

The Giants and the Titans may be getting all the attention when it comes to this season's playoffs speculations, yet the Panthers are currently in third place in ESPN's power rankings, demonstrating they are another outstanding team to watch out for come December. Fans with Carolina Panthers tickets will get to see their favorite team take on Tampa Bay and Denver in the last part of the season at Bank of America Stadium, and these two games are must-sees for hardcore Carolina enthusiasts. what two should i start: Reche Caldwell, Mike Furrey, Muhsin Muhammad, Greg Jennings, Joe Horn?

Horn is Out this week.

Muhammad has Grossman throwing to him. Nuff said there.

Jennings has the immortal Bret Favre throwing to him. Iffy at best with Driver as his #1 go to WR.

Caldwell has emerged as Brady's #1 over the past couple of weeks. Start him.

Furrey is the ace in Detroit who Kitna will rely on heavily, seeing how they face a Vikings D that is #1 (how the hell did that happen?) against the run.

Caldwell and Furrey are your WR's
